OSC was engaged by the client early in the process

and as a result, we were able to complete four weeks of demolition prior to the final subcontractor bid phase.

We began our work for Gibson Dunn by building a temporary space to house the firm for the duration of the new construction. We teamed with both Gensler’s LA office, as design lead for the space, and with Gensler Houston on the construction and execution of the space. The project was delivered on time and under budget. Project highlights include:

Largest combined floor slab cut, and removal, in 811 Main
Stair with a gently radiused arc to its design and is clad in stone and glass
Reception area including lacquer ceilings and imported Turkish stone slabs are installed throughout the space
Office fronts / wall systems by Muraflex. The design enhanced the wall system’s STC rating by including ‘drop down’ seals at the floor – achieving STC 38
Staff lounge with stand-alone stone clad islands, high-end LVT, decorative tiles and premium millwork
Ten individual conference spaces of varying sizes with individual AV system designs; walls include fabric wrapped panels, premium custom wood veneer panels and premium accented lacquer panels
Training room that seats between 80 – 100 people in an auditorium arrangement
Elevator lobby design with incorporated solid bronze elevator hoistway surrounds, cladding and miscellaneous trim is crafted from brass, finished to match bronze
