Founded in 1893, Jones Day (formerly known as Blandin & Rice)

is a privately-owned, global law firm.

To maintain a consistent brand message throughout all 43 global offices, Jones Day utilized a modern design aesthetic to foster interaction and accessibility amongst the staff. O’Donnell Snider was privileged to have been hired during preconstruction by Jones Day, to execute work. The project is located on the top two floors (levels 32 and 33) of downtown Houston’s Calpine Center Tower. Gensler was retained to provide architectural and design solutions throughout this A-Class office space. The space incorporates opulent finishes such as Italian azul bahia granite and marble flooring, new glass office fronts (by Maars) and acoustical wall paneling. Private shower rooms and restrooms were created to enhance the employees office experience.
